[How to Write a Letter]

Before beginning, total solitude
must be achieved: lock doors, close
windows, and turn off
phone. Soft music and candlelight is recommended.
Think about him
for at least 30 minutes...begin.
Letter can begin with phrase, �Dear _____�. Using
only his first name is more preferable. Emotions
must be checked while writing in progress.
Avoid
phrases such as �I miss you�,
�I want you�, and �I love you�. Exposure
of true emotion is unacceptable. Do not reveal
weakness. When completed,
reread letter, deleting
certain words: hate, mad, miss, want, love, and always.
Letter should be shorter
than expected. Fold letter and gently place in envelope.
Before sending, remember
to dispose of letter immediately.
