Friday night the 28th and Saturday the 29th

So we arrived to my friend's apartment in Miami on Friday, a few hours before the service started. We talked and rested a for a bit before piling into a car and driving to UM. By the time we got there the doors were opened, and there were people already inside waiting for the service to start.At times i want to say concert, but it wasn't a concert. the Hilsong United band even said it wasn't a concert. That's why they would tell the audience to stop taking pictures and focus on Who we are singing to.
Saturday was a day full of sessions. One of the 'strailians (not Australians) would speak about a topic, then they would have question and answer time. As I was sitting there watching the discussions, I felt like I knew them, as if they were more than just a great band, more than just a great people. And when a "fan" took a picture or tried to get their attention, it made me upset because it made them upset. I hope one day I will be able to meet them in person and get to talk to them about life, even maybe be friends.
After the trip, I've had such a hard time looking for songs to sing for the worship sets we have coming up. The majority of the music i have is from hillsong United, and I like to play their music. But I REALLY want to write original songs. At the conference I went to one of the breakout sessions called Musical Musings. And Matt, Brooke and Joel all said that they constantly write or have a song on their minds. They work on music at least 3 hours a day. And it's not that I want to give up because I don't have 3 hours a day to write. But I am determined to make the time. I am determined to write a full song over the next few months. I know you'd be excited to hear that, Andy. And when I have it ready, I'll find a way to place it online somewhere.
